Jeila Gueramian

Jeila Gueramian is a multidisciplinary artist known for her immersive installations that transform textiles and found materials into fantastical, otherworldly environments. Her work invites viewers into dreamlike spaces where nostalgia, play, and imagination come together. Blurring the boundaries between fine art and craft, Gueramian’s intricate fiber-based creations evoke a sense of wonder and connection.

Her work has been exhibited at institutions such as the Children’s Museum of the Arts in New York City, where she presented an interactive textile installation, and the Katonah Museum of Art, where her large-scale, site-specific works encouraged exploration and engagement. In addition to these, her installations have been featured in galleries, museums, and public spaces across the country.

Based in New York, Gueramian continues to push the boundaries of textile art, embracing storytelling through materiality and texture. Her work reflects a deep appreciation for craft traditions while reimagining them in a contemporary, immersive context.
