Charlotte Bravin Leeb. 1996is a New York City based artist working in watercolor and gouache.She started her studies in painting and drawing at a very young age honing her skills in portraiture, landscape, perspective and figure drawing. She then went on to study art history and spent several months in Rome studying the Italian Renaissance.
She also works as a makeup artist in film, TV and theatre taking her skills to Broadway, Saturday Night Live and American Ballet Theatre--to name a few. Charlotte’s work as an artist is influenced by her life growing up in New York City. Charlotte over-fixates on the lives of women around her, circles in which she was never affiliated but rather remained a distant observer.
Through this series, “Who is Home,” she has begun to study her memory, the main character of the series.
